The Ovetto 50 is a
good all round bike, it has many bonuses, it has the stylish head
lights, its very fast off the mark, and its good for 45mph just taking
the restriction off the exhaust. When buying a new exhaust its good for
55mph, mine with rollers and exhaust and racing air filter is good for
50mph almost anywhere, and downhill good for 60mph, on straights good
for 54/55mph, uphill 48/50mph. |

I have owned an MBK Ovetto since the begging of January. Its a sound bike and is allot of fun to ride. Its not the fastest of all the scooters, Its not the most aggressive looking of them all either. There is something about this bike that makes it so special, and hold it own against other scooters though. Its more like a Mercedes than a Porsche if you will. Its very comfortable. Its as luxurious as a bike can be, its got a very nice looking back lit speedo, its not too loud, and its very economical. It even has a digital clock, I don’t know of any other bike with a clock, although I haven’t really checked. Unfortunately, because this bike is so nice, its prone to thieving scum! Mine was stolen and recovered today. Its a rite wreck. I used to get a top speed of about 50 on the flat (pretty respectable when you consider its all standard except for de-restriction, and I have learnt how to wheelie it. I would advise anybody to buy this for a first bike, however just be careful you don't get it stolen!!! I have £600 worth of damage to sort out!!! |
